Playa Gwangalli (광안리해수욕장)

La playa Gwangalli tiene 1,4 km de longitud y 64 m de ancho, y es famosa por la calidad de su arena. Esta área ha sido mantenida especialmente con el programa de limpieza de sus aguas, y como resultado, el agua de esta playa está muy limpia. Por ello, el área también se llena de pescadores. Sobre los diferentes puntos del lugar se puede preparar hoe, un plato de pequeños filetes de pescado crudo, y está también Olympic Yacht Rental, donde se pueden alquilar yates. Sobre la playa hay una plataforma para conciertos al aire libre donde tiene lugar el Festival del Mar de Busan y muchos otros eventos. También se puede disfrutar del esquí acuático, jet-ski, windsurf, y otros excitantes deportes acuáticos. El área posee un centro cultural, un museo, salas de teatro y cine, una galería de arte, estación de TV, y tiendas de marcas famosas tanto coreanas como extranjeras. Es un lugar popular para jóvenes.

Cada sábado por la noche, cientos de drones iluminan el cielo nocturno sobre la Playa Gwangalli en una variedad de formaciones fascinantes a través de un maravilloso espectáculo de luces con drones. Su nombre M viene de "Marvelous" ("maravilloso", en inglés), y suele contar con 600 drones formando imágenes con referencias al tema elegido cada época del año. Hay que tener en cuenta que el espectáculo puede tener horario flexible según las condiciones meteorológicas.

made with jaecheop, or shellfish, caught from the nearby Gupo area to people who sought refuge in Busan during the Korean War.
