Lago Baegun (백운호수)

El lago Baegun es un lago artificial que se completó en 1953. El lago está rodeado por montañas, entre las que están el monte Cheonggyesan en el noreste, el monte Baegunsan en el sureste y el monte Moraksan en el oeste. El lago tiene una superficie de 363.638 m². Se construyó originalmente para proporcionar riego a las tierras de cultivo cercanas, pero se convirtió en un espacio recreativo público debido a su bello paisaje, su aire fresco y su área de estacionamiento que permite recibir a muchos visitantes, quienes pueden disfrutar de la música en una cafetería o de actividades acuáticas como paseos en bote a motor, así como deliciosas comidas en restaurantes cercanos.

Songihyang Hanjeongsik is a Korean restaurant offering tranquil views of Cheonggyesan Mountain and Baegun Lake. Their signature dish, the borigulbi jeongsik (barley-aged dried yellow croaker set menu), features barley-aged yellow croaker dried in the sea breeze of Yeonggwang, soaked in rice water to remove excess salt, and steamed with pine needles. This main dish is accompanied by seven other dishes, with the rice cooked in a cast-iron pot highlighting the meal’s flavors. Additionally, the deodeokgui jeongsik (grilled deodeok set menu) and jjukkumi jeongsik (spicy stir-fried webfoot octopus set menu) are also highly recommended. Nearby attractions such as Gwanggyo Mountain, Seoul Grand Park, and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art offer visitors a comprehensive experience of the area.
