El Parque Yeouido de Seúl, es como el Central Park de Nueva York, y como el Hyde Park de Londres. Durante 27 años, el parque ha estado cubierto de asfalto negro, hasta que comenzaron las obras de reconstrucción, y finalmente ha llegado a convertirse en un parque de la ciudad, que integra el bosque natural, el césped verde y el agua. Las obras comenzaron el 10 de abril de 1997, luego el 31 de octubre de 1998 se dio la apertura parcial, hasta que en febrero de 1999 se dio su apertura completa. Es un espacio verde, cercano a la ciudad, disfrutable para las personas de todas las edades. Ideal para descansar, pasear y hacer gimnasia, y, también participar en los eventos culturales.

Con 24 pilares de granito, una espléndida cúpula y un exterior de color blanco, el Edificio de la Asamblea Nacional es una obra arquitectónica sorprendente. Esta bella edificación se levantó en 1975, después de seis años de obras. Los pilares y la cúpula simbolizan las diversas opiniones del pueblo surgiendo juntas. Una de las razones de por qué este edifico se encuentra entre las atracciones favoritas de los turistas es porque se ubica en los márgenes del río Hangang. El río Hangang se extiende por detrás del palacio legislativo a modo de un hermoso fondo escénico. El edificio está dotado de un centro para vistas, un área de paseo, como así también bancos a lo largo del río. La forma más fácil de visitar el edificio es mediante la presentación de la solicitud en el Centro de Visitas. El visitante puede recorrer varias partes de este palacio legislativo como así también las áreas principales de conferencias. El proceso de solicitud lleva apenas 20 minutos. La única dificultad es que no se ofrece servicio de guía en idioma extranjero. Aquellos que estén interesados en observar a los políticos coreanos en acción, debería presenciar también el modo en que proceden en las sesiones.

Es un festival que tiene lugar a mediados de abril en los alrededores de la calle Yeouiseo-ro (Yunjung-ro), durante la época cuando las flores primaverales como la forsitia, la azalea y el cerezo llegan a su plenitud. El parque fue construido en el antiguo sitio en donde se encontraba la Academia de la Fuerza Aérea de Corea, por lo que sigue utilizando el nombre “Boramae” (Halcón Peregrino), que es el ave simbólica de la academia aérea. Es un parque temático que consta de un estadio complejo, campo de bádminton, área para la escalada en roca, campo de césped, parque aéreo, estanque de agua (fuente musical), plaza infantil, área para el picnic, y otros espacios para el descanso y de comodidad. El museo fue inaugurado en el año 1995 en homenaje al maestro Kim Sung-kok, fundador de la compañía Ssangyong. Es una institución pública, cuya finalidad es estructurar el servicio de bienestar social por medio del arte y la cultura. La exposición está enfocada a las obras artísticas que interpretan y reflejan la tradición, las costumbres y el color folclórico de Corea, en un entorno moderno. Más allá de las exhibiciones, también apoya a los nuevos artistas, por medio de proyectos como el “Concurso Artístico de Sungkok”, y el “Artista del Futuro”. Está compuesto por el edificio principal, el edificio anexo y un parque de esculturas. También dispone de una cafetería y una tienda de artículos artísticos.

El parque Sajik es uno de los tres parques más famosos en Jongno-gu, junto con los parques Tapgol y Samcheong. Situado al oeste de Cheong Wa Dae, cerca del monte Inwangsan, el parque tiene unas impresionantes dimensiones de 188.710 m².

El nombre del parque fue elegido en 1395, cuando Taejo Lee Sung-gye hizo su primer Sajikdan (altar a los dioses del Estado) junto con el santuario Jongmyo, en el centro del parque. "Sa" se refiere a la deidad de la Tierra, mientras que "jik" hace referencia a la deidad de los cinco granos. Varios rituales por buenas cosechas tuvieron lugar regularmente en el Sajikdan; sin embargo, el área no fue reconocida como un parque hasta 1922, durante el período colonial japonés.

En el parque se encuentran muchos parques infantlies, estatuas de Shin Saimdang, Hwanghakjeong y Yi I (nombrado a menudo por su nombre de escritor, Yulgok), y la Biblioteca Municipal Infantil. El santuario Dangun y la Biblioteca de Jongno se encuentran por la zona.
