Yeosu Hanok Experience Center (여수한옥체험관)

Sanggwan Village, located at the foot of Ansimsan Mountain at Sora-myeon, Yeosu-si, is the first hanok (traditional Korean house) village in Yeosu and one of Jeollanam-do’s Happiness Village. All rooms in Yeosu Hanok Experience Center are furnished with ondol (under-the-floor heating system) and red clay-lined walls for a healthy stay. The house can only be rented as a whole, containing a bedroom, two ondol rooms, a living room, and two restrooms. The house has a building area of 112 m2, with standard occupancy of 10 and the maximum occupancy of 15. Each additional guest above standard occupancy carries a surcharge of KRW 10,000, with exemptions for guests under 7 years of age. All rooms are furnished with toiletries and hair dryer. The kitchen is equipped with kitchen utensils, gas stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, and electric kettle. There is a separate barbecue area, with complimentary grill and charcoal available for renting. The grass lawn has a raised open floor and a 7 m-deep well. Experience programs on offer include traditional games like yunnori (traditional Korean board game), neolttwigi (Korean seesaw), and kite flying, and injeolmi (bean-powder-coated rice cake) making. Guests who wish to take part in the latter must place a reservation at least one week in advance. Free pickup service is offered for Yeosu Airport and Yeosu Bus Terminal. Guests must notify the accommodations at least one hour before arrival. Nearby attractions include The Ocean Resort Waterpark, Yeosu Soho Marina, and Soho Dongdong Bridge.

El luge es una actividad a través de la cual uno se puede trasladar por una gran pista en pendiente de 1,3 km en un trineo sin motor, pasando por las dinámicas secciones de túnel, atracción, descenso por Sky Bridge, bosques naturales, etc., utilizando solo la gravedad, apto para todas las edades. El Top Rider de U-World se encuentra en la zona media del monte Ansimsan, famoso lugar para ver el amanecer desde 347 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Aquí podrá disfrutar de una vista sin obstáculos al mar, así como del hermoso entorno natural donde armonizan las montañas, el océano y las rocas naturales.

Nogodan Guesthouse & Hotel in Gwansan-ri, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do offers a panoramic view of Jirisan Mountain. Majority of the guests are families who visit the area for the hiking trail called Gurye Dullegil during weekends or vacation. One of the most outstanding features of this guesthouse is that it supplies hot spring water containing germanium, so guests can relax in a bathtub filled with hot spring water after hiking. The guesthouse also has a rooftop garden from which you can enjoy the landscape of Jirisan Mountain. There is a bus going to Nogodan Peak, and a round-trip ticket costs KRW 15,000. Note, however, that the bus doesn't run during winter, so it's the best time of the year for serious hikers who prefer walking rather than taking a bus. The owner of the guesthouse sometimes serves as mountain guide upon the request of his guests. And Located on the ground floor of Nogodan Guesthouse, BUEN CAMINO is a restaurant & pub for travelers. Dishes are cooked to order, with ingredients produced in Gurye near Mt. Jirisan. Seasonal vegetables and side dishes are served with the following main dishes: Jirisan Black Pork BBQ, Jirisan Zucchini Stew, and Jirisan Pan-dried Zucchini. It is possible to order for one person for every item on the menu. If you are going to have Jirisan Black Pork BBQ, you'd better make a reservation in advance so that you can save time and enjoy the meal in a more pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. Sansuyu Makgeolli goes well with all the dishes served.
