El río que se origina entre Yuchi-myeon y Jangdong-myeong, del municipio de Jangheung-gun, con una longitud de 56 km y pasa por Busan-myeon. Atravesando el centro de la ciudad de Jangheung, hace referencia a uno de los Tres Ríos (Yeongsan, Seomjin, Tamjin), que anteriormente recibía el nombre de Yaeyang. Su nombre, Tamjin, fue asignado por la gente de la tierra que por primera vez navegaron por el río. Hasta la actualidad fluyen aguas cristalinas, y los 10 pabellones tradicionales pequeños en su alrededor detienen el paso de los visitantes para tomar un descanso rodeado de una hermosa naturaleza local.

Esta obra fue creada por la Oficina de Turismo de Corea durante 26 años y se publicó como el primer tipo de Nuri público.
