El Central Park de Dongtan se encuentra en la ciudad de Hwaseong, provincia de Gyeonggi-do, y es un complejo que incluye un parque e instalaciones deportivas. En el parque hay senderos para correr y hacer caminatas y la primera instalación deportiva fue el estadio de fútbol, culminado en 2008. Los residentes de la zona suelen acercarse para pasar horas de esparcimiento en el área de gimnasia, el área de investigación ecológica y el jardín estilo tradicional. Se pueden practicar diversos deportes además del fútbol, como fútsal, tenis, patinaje, básquet, escalada, bádminton, etc., y también hay un sector para niños. En la temporada veraniega, se vuelve muy popular la zona del estanque de lotos y las instalaciones acuáticas para divertirse. Alrededor de la fuente de aguas danzantes suele oírse música que armoniza con el espectáculo de los chorros de agua. En los alrededores hay también muchos restaurantes y cafés. Se permite visitar el lugar con mascotas, pero estas deben llevar correa y se deben recoger sus desechos.
