Located in Bupyeong-dong, Jung-gu, Gupojip is a representative Gyeongsang-do style chueo-tang (loach soup) restaurant that has been around for a long period of time. Bracken is added to the thick broth, making the chueo-tang tastier. Their soy bean paste is also very good and added to the chueo-tang. The cabbages and bean sprouts add hearty flavor to it, too. Various vegetables remove the wild taste and make the broth gentle.

El Mercado Bupyeong de Busan es también conocido como Mercado Kkangtong (que significa "lata"). Consiguió ese divertido nombre cuando se importaron una gran variedad de productos en lata desde los Estados Unidos para las fuerzas armadas de ese país que se encontraban en Corea durante la Guerra de Corea. Lo que hoy en día se conoce como el área de cines de Nampo-dong se estableció luego de la liberación de Corea el 15 de agosto de 1945, que es cuando se fundaron varios cines en la calle de Nampo-dong. La denominación actual, Plaza BIFF, se acuñó el 14 de agosto de 1996, cuando se celebró el primer festival cinematográfico en Busan. Con su desarrollo en el sector de la industria cinematográfica, y los esfuerzos que se entablaron para ubicarlo como un destino turístico cultural, ha logrado que se posicione como un nuevo destino turístico y cultural a nivel internacional. La carretera que comienza desde el antiguo cine Buyeong de Nampo-dong hasta el puente de Chungmu-dong, con 428 m de largo, es reconocida hoy en día como el “Camino de las Estrellas” y el “Camino del Festival de Cine”. En especial, a víspera del festival cinematográfico, en cada año, se celebra en estas calles el evento de huellas de la mano de las estrellas famosas, y el encendido de las luces con flores, entre otros acontecimientos que dan la apertura del festival. Es el único en el mundo que posee la concentración de cines que estrenan las películas del festival, por lo tanto, su potencial de crecimiento es enorme. Es más, últimamente también es visitado por cantidad de jóvenes y turistas, ya que el lugar se está convirtiendo en un complejo cultural de entretenimiento y de compras.

Located in Nampo-dong, Dolsotbapjip is a restaurant that has been serving dolsotbap (hot-pot rice) with a consistent taste for more than 30 years. The only dishes on the menu are doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) and sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew). Both are served with bibimbap in a hot stone pot. After eating the rice, you can also enjoy sungnyung, made by pouring water in the hot pot after you have scooped the rice out. This restaurant, with its long history, has become famous through word of mouth among Japanese tourists.

Located in Gukje Market near Gwangbok-ro Road in the heart of Busan, Keunjip restaurant is quite accessible; but it is a little difficult for first-time visitors to locate the exact entrance. The restaurant serves a vareity of jjim (steamed food) dishes and hanjeongsik (Korean table d’hote).



The most popular menu is the bulgogijjim (stewed bulgogi) served with tasty gejang (marinated crab), kimchi, nutritious toran (taro dishes), and 10 other side dishes. Another delicacy is Keunjip's haemuljjim (spicy stewed seafood), filled with shrimp, octopus, clams, and more seafood and served with kongnamul (bean sprouts).
