Jeil Sikdang has attracted extensive media coverage over the years with its famous Baekam sundae (blood sausage), which has become a local specialty of Baekam. The Sundae served in this restaurant tastes like no other as a result of its long history and the owner’s special recipe. The thick, rich broth of sundae guk (blood sausage soup) is made by simmering the ingredients in a cauldron for many hours. Jeil Sikdang’s Haejangguk is great for a hearty meal and also for reliving a hangover. The sliced radish served as a side dish is also a delicacy of this restaurant.
