Hay dos historias sobre el origen del nombre del monte Geumnyeonsan de Busan, de 415 metros de altitud. Una sugiere que la montaña se parece a las flores de loto, y la otra afirma que los budistas sirvieron a Buda con flores doradas. Aunque la montaña solía albergar dos templos, Banyaam y Banyamilda, ya no quedan más unos pocos restos. Famosa por las campanas de estos templos, la montaña es uno de los ocho puntos escénicos de Suyeong-gu, y ofrece instalaciones de entrenamiento para niños, manantiales naturales y rutas de senderismo.

El monte Hwangnyeongsan se encuentra en el corazón de la ciudad de Busan y atraviesa los distritos de Busanjin-gu, Nam-gu y Suyeong-gu. Con una altura de 427 metros, tiene la segunda mayor cumbre de la cadena montañosa Geumnyeon. Esta montaña está compuesta mayoritariamente por andesita y su cumbre es relativamente plana. Algunas partes se caracterizan por ser muy rocosas. La parte nororiental de la montaña está conectada con el monte Geumnyeonsan. Tiene en su interior algunas colinas menores, cuyas cumbres no son pronunciadas. La relativamente baja altura de este monte permite llegar a la cumbre en 2 o 3 horas. En la base del monte se pueden encontrar áreas de descanso municipales y un centro de deportes juvenil. Hay diferentes rutas dependiendo del tipo de transporte que se utilice.

Located in Gwangan 2-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan, Halmae (meaning "grandmother" in Busan dialect) Jaecheopguk has a long history of selling jaecheopguk (clear shellfish soup)
made with jaecheop, or shellfish, caught from the nearby Gupo area to people who sought refuge in Busan during the Korean War.

Each bowl of cool tasting broth has abundant amounts of jaecheop. Jaecheop has long been widely used as an ingredient to help in relieving hangover symptoms.
